Amazon Creative Assets – for Sponsored Brands, Stores and A+
Amazon released an update to its creative assets – now it is possible to store, manage and use creative content across all Amazon, not just A+. Brands can no longer worry about sellers using different, and sometimes, outdated or irrelevant content to create listings, A+ content and/or launch advertising for the brand’s product. It’s all possible through uploading brand’s creative files and tagging them in one central location for further use across Amazon Advertising, and on Amazon shopping pages. Upload files from your computer or apply Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. For now, only images can be uploaded, however Amazon promises to allow storage of video assets in the coming months.
What’s peculiar about using creative assets?
Right after you uploaded your files to Amazon’s central storage, you can submit them for moderation for further use in ad campaigns. Moderation status will be displayed in the assets’ details. However, Amazon will NOT moderate content for use in A+.
Why is it important?
Having all the necessary creative assets at hand helps you speed up the creation of ad campaigns. You can search, sort and filter uploaded files by name, tag, products, and other attributes. Search results can be further filtered by asset types (logo, custom, or product image), upload date, file format, file size, dimension, moderation status, etc. Assets that were previously used in Sponsored Brands campaigns and Stores can also be reached from here. To create Sponsored Brands campaigns and Stores pages, simply access creative assets in the builder, select and use brand content without leaving the page.
Who is it for?
This new feature is available for use by Amazon vendors, sellers and KDP authors. However, so far it can only be used from North America: United States, Canada, Mexico. As any other Amazon initiative it will highly probably be available for other countries later.
What do I need to access Creative Assets?
All you need is access to Amazon Advertising Console – and there you go, easy as pie.
