A habitual runner, Hugh Gaither applied his competitive nature to the problem of designing a sock, which instead of being a mere foot covering, would enhance the performance of runners and other athletes. Today, Hugh and his sons, Joe and John, have been joined by a dedicated core of individuals driven to combine new technology with original designs to produce performance socks for athletics, activities, work and leisure.
