Big news out of Arlington, Texas: our next-generation warehouse robotics facility is fully up and running. After a landmark partnership with Quicktron Robotics formalized several months ago, we’ve officially made the leap from traditional manual fulfillment to a fully automated, AI-powered operation.
A Facility Built for the Future
At the heart of the operation is a fleet of 69 autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) – high-speed machines that navigate the warehouse floor with centimeter-level precision. These warehouse robots handle the heavy lifting, retrieving and transporting goods faster and more accurately than any manual process could.
What This Means for Our Customers
We’re projecting a 130% increase in throughput capacity compared to our previous setup. For our customers across GritrSports, GritrOutdoors, and RunUnited, this means:
Faster order fulfillment
Fewer errors
Greater consistency, especially during peak seasons
As Alex Grigorenko, our CIO, put it: “We aren’t just adding more space; we are adding intelligence.”
Investing in Arlington
Beyond the technology, the new facility represents a meaningful investment in the local community. GRITR Sports has created 25 new specialized roles in Arlington, covering robotics maintenance, data analysis, and systems management. Creating quality local jobs has always been part of how we grow.
As order volumes continue to climb and our brand portfolio expands, the new robotics infrastructure gives us the foundation to keep pace without compromising on the customer experience.
